If it is Chicago and it is after Labor Day, then it must be a print show at McCormick Convention Center. Previously known as Graph Expo, PRINT 18 continues the long history of one of North America’s largest annual print industry trade shows. Rebranded as PRINT shows every year instead of the Graph Expo and PRINT every four-year switch off, this show really focuses on the latest hardware and software technology for commercial, transactional, wide-format and packaging (also known as carton converting).
Our team at Eagle Systems will be returning to McCormick Place in booth 1142 for PRINT 18. And there are some exciting things to see in our booth that you won’t want to miss. First, and this is pretty major, we will be unveiling Eagle HV, a new process for foil that is an Eagle Systems first and set to be a game changer for print shops looking to stay one step ahead of their competition. To learn more, you will have to stop by booth 1142 and keep your eye on the news being released during the show.
Eagle HV isn’t the only exciting thing happening at the show though. Hot and Cold Foil have a lot of interest in 2018. Not sure what the difference is? Just to summarize though, hot foil is really an art and has limitations when it comes to the type of effects you can achieve using foil as an embellishment. Cold foil is a lot more versatile and opens the door to creating print that you just can’t do any other way with an offset printing process.
