Over the years I have tried many different blankets. I will start with the Day 8212, a soft blanket and it is great for large solids. The Ebony HC is a highly compressible blanket and a little harder surface but soft underneath and blanket great for solids and detail. The black pearl is a very hard blanket and great for screens and detail. By choosing the right blanket for the job, you can increase or decrease your working window of opportunity of the job you are running. You always want the largest window if the job allows. The window I refer to, is your density of your adhesive. Large window, means easier running without chasing your settings.
